Wortley Standards has been providing a first class calibration service in South Yorkshire since 1986. With highly experienced and knowledgeable staff, we specialise in the calibration, repair, sales and servicing of dimensional metrology equipment but can also calibrate and service electrical, torque and pressure measuring devices.

We offer a free collection and delivery service for our clients in and around the Sheffield, Rotherham, Doncaster & Chesterfield areas. Alternatively, you can post your instruments to us and we'll calibrate them and post them back at cost.

We have long standing service history with many large primary manufacturers within the metals manufacturing industry, often acting as a complete gauge room solution through annual orders with routine call-offs.

8th July 2011,
Wortley Standards launches a new Website giving us the facilty to detail our stock of used instruments and gauges available for purchase or hire.

1st March 2011,
Wortley Standards has signed a new contract with Tata Steel UK to provide additional calibration services throughout the UK.

2nd January 2011,
We have welcomed Mr Patrick Gregory to the team. Patrick is an experienced Calibration Technician and brings with him new skills and ideas which have already improved our customer service and turnaround.

31st March 2010,
UKAS have completed their triennial re-assessment of Wortley Standards with a recommendation for continued accreditation.

20th February 2009,
A contract has been signed with Firth Rixson to provide group wide on-site calibration services in addition to the Lab based UKAS services.

21st February 2008,
The United Kingdom Accreditation Service (UKAS) approved our new laboratory at Killamarsh, Sheffield.
